Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and technically adept Simulation Sales Executive to drive the adoption of the SOLIDWORKS Simulation suite among engineering and manufacturing clients. This role combines deep CAD expertise with consultative sales skills to uncover opportunities, present simulation-driven solutions, and help customers improve product performance through advanced engineering analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end sales process for SolidWorks.
  • Identify and engage prospects through market research, networking, and collaboration with marketing. Qualify opportunities by understanding customer pain points and aligning them with simulation capabilities.
  • Understand customer engineering challenges and position simulation tools as solutions that add business value and improve product development cycles.
  • Work closely with Simulation Application Engineers to deliver tailored product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical consultations.
  • Build and manage strong, lasting client relationships. Uncover upsell opportunities and contribute to account growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and advancements in simulation technologies. Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records, pipeline updates, and opportunity tracking using CRM tools.

Education/Experience

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of experience in B2B software or engineering solution sales, preferably in CAD, simulation, or technical software domains.
  • Strong understanding of engineering design processes, product development cycles, and the role of simulation tools in optimizing design.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including presales, support, and product management.
  • Familiarity with SOLIDWORKS Simulation or similar tools is an added advantage.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
