Job Description

We are looking for an experienced solar site engineer who will be responsible for hassle-free solar installation for the end customer. The engineer will ensure that our solar project installations are of the
highest quality while maintaining proper time schedules and budget. The site engineer should be adept at
coordinating with various teams & both internal and external.

Requirement :

· Good knowledge of solar photovoltaic & electrical components
· Must be able to work with solar mounting structure installations for both rooftop and ground mount
· Must have knowledge of installation of solar panels & their electrical connections Installation of inverter (central or string) DCDB/SCB LA and associated earthing related work
· Investigating problems diagnosing and addressing faults
· Strict adherence to HSE policy and safety standards
· Reporting daily progress to the reporting head
· Coordinate with sub-contractor and labour for timely completion of project
· Coordinate with end customer related to site requirement
· Having knowledge of IS/NEC codes for solar project execution
· Lead testing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of the project
· Coordination & liaising with various govt. bodies for approval required for the projects.Site surveys to be undertaken as required

Capabilities of a Solar Site Engineer include:
Experience with solar site execution both rooftop and ground mounted.
Responsible for operational-level tasks such as understanding client site recruitment conducting site feasibility assessments designing solar systems and overseeing complete execution.
Able to assess site visibility and determine the most suitable options for enhancing suitability.
Proficient in reading drawings layouts and single line diagrams (SLDs) for the project.
Coordinates with design teams and project management to ensure project execution aligns with the approach drawing and client requirements.
Thorough understanding of all components of a solar PV system.
Sound understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and major components of a solar PV system.
Skilled at managing workforce and subcontractors on the field to optimize resources and complete projects.
Able to coordinate with procurement teams for on-site material receipt.
Capable of ensuring storage security and proper usage of materials on site following SOPs.
Able to handle storage security and proper usage of material as per SOP at site
Coordinating with the client and project manager to ensure successful project commissioning ahead of schedule. Responsible for proper housekeeping and handing over duties alongside the project manager to the client.

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE:

· 5+ year of relevant experience in solar rooftop & ground mount installation
· B. Tech /B.E. & ndash Any Specialization - Electrical Mechanical Electronics/Telecommunication Energy
· Strong electrical and PV technical knowledge

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Hindi and regional languages
· Highly self-motivated individual with good convincing power
· Time management skills required to achieve established targets
· Knowledge of MS Office- Word Excel PowerPoint Projects
· Good verbal and written communication skills in English
· Should be okay with extensive traveling
