    • Goto www.zigsaw.in
    • On smaller screens(Mobile, Tablet etc.) Click on the 3 dots at the top right hand side of the page. Click on Register. On larger screens (Desktop, Laptop etc.) users can directly click on the Login option at the top RHS of the page
    • Enter your name, email address, mobile number (WhatsApp preferred) and a password of your choice to complete the registration
  • How do I upload/update my resume on the portal?
  • Here’s a step-by-step guide
  • Where can I see a list of available Jobs?
  • You can goto www.zigsaw.in/alljobs to view all available Jobs. 
  • How to apply on any Job
    • Goto the Job Details page of the Job of your choice.
    • Read through the Job-description and click on Apply for this Job at the top RHS of the page
    • It will ask you for your expected salary, earliest join date, why do you think you would be a good fit for this role etc. to screen casual Job applications. Screening questions (if requested by HR) could also be asked on this page to know specifics by the Recruitment Manager
    • Fill in your responses and click on Apply for Job
    • You would receive a text message as a confirmation of receiving your Job-application.
  • How can I know if I have applied for any Job?
  • You would get a text message after you have applied for any Job. Moreover the Apply for this Job changes to Already Applied when you visit the Job Details page of the corresponding Job
  • How to verify my account?
  • Here’s a step-by-step guide
  • Where can I find my secret key required to verify your account?
  • Your secret key was emailed to you when you created your account. To find your secret key, here’s a step-by-step guide
    • Goto your email inbox
    • Search for “secret key”. You will come across a Welcome Email from Zigsaw Admin
    • You will find your 8 digit numerical secret key to verify your account
    • If you are still not able to find the secret code you can request the secret code by clicking on “Resend Verification Email” at www.zigsaw.in/verifyaccount Kindly note that emails can take upto 15 minutes to reach your inbox. If you still do not find the email, it might be because it has been wrongly marked as SPAM. Kindly check under the SPAM folder of your inbox to retrieve the email
  • Where can I check the status of my application?

  • How to retrieve my password if I have forgotten my password?

    • Enter your email and click on submit
    • Kindly check your email for password. Kindly note that emails can take upto 15 minutes to reach your inbox. If you still do not find the email, it might be because it has been wrongly marked as SPAM. Kindly check under the SPAM folder of your inbox to retrieve the email
  • How to change my password?

    • Enter your old password for verification & the new password you would like to keep for your login account at www.zigsaw.in
  • I have applied for a couple of Jobs at www.zigsaw.in but haven’t received any call from Zigsaw. I am not sure what might be causing it. Can you help?
  • Whenever you apply for any Job, we usually take action on your Job-application within 48 hours of your application. The action would be informed to you via an email/SMS and can be viewed under the Application status tab at www.zigsaw.in/applicationstatus We only sometimes give a personal call/WhatsApp to shortlisted Job-seekers corresponding to their Job-application
  • The pages are not loading correctly at www.zigsaw.in What can I do?
  • It is sometimes caused by Browser cache and cookies. We recommend that you follow the below process
  • www.zigsaw.in is unusually slow. What can I do?
  • Sometimes we receive unusually high traffic and it becomes difficult for our modest IT infrastructure to handle it. You can try again in some time. That being said, we are currently working on upgrading our IT infrastructure to minimize such instances.
  • What happens when my Job-application was shortlisted by Zigsaw but I haven’t heard from the employer?
  • When we shortlist any application, it is forwarded to the official email address of the HR. If HR finds your application relevant, he/she would get in touch with you soon. However, if you haven’t from the HR/employer in 7-10 days, it usually means one of the below case
      • The HR was not impressed with the answers to the screening question provided by you.
      • The HR estimates that you are under qualified as per their expectations
      • The HR estimates that you are overqualified for the Job (might negatively impact stability)
      • The HR estimates that your salary expectations do not match their expectations from your skills/experience
      • They have already hired someone else or are in final talks with someone.
      • The position was filled internally.
      • The position went on Hold
  • When I checked under www.zigsaw.in/applicationstatus  my application has been rejected for a lot of Jobs. Could you please help my application get shortlisted.
  • Job applications can be rejected by a lot of reasons but here is a list of top 4 reasons 
    • Lack of relevant Skills/Experience: The most prominent case of rejection happens because Job-seekers apply randomly on Jobs and without a clear understanding of the skills & experience required for any Job. Applying to random Jobs that do not match your skills reduces your credibility as a Job-seeker
    • Salary Expectations: Job market has grown very competitive in the last 3-4 years and sometimes unreasonable salary expectation wrt skills/experience can cause your application to be rejected
    • Lack of sincerity: A lot of times Job-seekers do not show up for the interview or back out in the middle of the recruitment process. Sometimes applications can be rejected if the Recruiter thinks you are not sincere enough for the role.
    • Interaction with the candidate: Sometimes although you check all points on a Recruiter checklist, the Recruiter does not find you suitable after an interaction with you.
  • The option to create resume is not active now & we would relaunch it soon.

  • You can volunteer to adopt any city & connect Job-seekers and employers in that city.   • Step-2: Go to www.zigsaw.in/alljobs All the live jobs are listed on the above page and have a thorough look at all the Jobs. Referral incentives (Referral Bounty you can earn for each successful referral) for each position is displayed under the referral amount head. Click on the Job opening for which you would like to refer friends.
  • Step-3: When you click on any Job, you will be redirected to a page that looks like www.zigsaw.in/jobdetails.php?apply=XXXX Kindly note that XXXX is the Job code that uniquely identifies this Job.

    • Method-1: Via the Social Media Icons Do have a look at the referral incentive tab. 6 Social Media icons are provided under this head. You can share the Jobs at Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Email, Telegram or via WhatsApp. Kindly note that the Jobs shared via this method would include your unique referral link. All the users who visit the website via your referral link will be counted as your referrals
    • Method-2: Via a unique link Do find your unique link of Job under the referral incentive tab, share it with your friends/family and help them bag the job of their choice. It would typically read as www.zigsaw.in/jobdetails.php?apply=XXXX&referby=YYYY In the above link, YYYY is your unique referral number.
    • Method-3: Submit an Anonymous TipSometimes, you would want to refer someone anonymously. In such cases, Click on “Submit an Anonymous Tip” at the bottom of the page. A dialog box would open. Enter the details of the person you would want to refer. A good tip would typically include the name and contact details of the referred person. A more detailed referral tip would be eligible for a better referral incentive.
    • Method-4: Via an email/SMS
      If you are comfortable with the other person knowing that he/she was referred by you, we recommend using this option. By filling out email/contact details of the person and clicking on “Invite”, the invitee will receive an email/SMS alert for this Job.

Understanding the referral incentive

  • Browse to the referral incentive section of the “Job Details” page.
  • Usually, we give our referral incentives under 4 categories.
    • Amount R1: =40% of total referral amount. This goes to the person through whose link the successful candidate applied. Amount 1 is the incentive to share specific opportunities with your friends.
    • Amount 2 (Guy Q): ~34% of the total referral amount goes to the person through whose unique link the successfull candidate was first registered on the portal. Amount 2 is the incentive to get your friends registered on www.zigsaw.in
    • Amount 3 (Guy R): ~17% of the total referral amount goes to the person through whose unique link the Guy Q was registered on the portal. Amount 3 is the incentive to motivate your friends to register his/her friends on www.zigsaw.in (2nd degree of connection)
    • Amount 4 (Guy S): ~9% of the total referral amount goes to the person through whose unique link the Guy R was registered on the portal. Amount 4 is the network incentive amount you get when a-friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend (3rd degree of connection) registers on www.zigsaw.in

  • The training program will consist of several basic and advanced level training.
  • Batch-1 of training programs

  • Training duration would be 6 months which would include a classroom training program, followed by an intensive on job training. Work-timings would be 10:00 am to 08:00 pm
  • typically designed to be completed in 6 months, the programs can also be completed before the estimated duration. Training program would be level based and the candidate would be required to complete all the levels for training completion. The candidates will be awarded a certificate of completion on successfull completion.
  • Admission to the training program would be on selection basis. The training program would be FREE for all Job-seekers however a security amount of 10000₹ would be payable at the start of the training program. Should a candidate not complete all the levels of the training program, the security amount will not be refunded back. However, on successfull completion of the course, the complete 10000₹ would be returned in full.

Case Study-1 (A reputed outsourcing company in Udaipur)

A well known KPO in Udaipur partnered with us for their hiring needs. We sourced talent for them. A month of induction into the system, we partnered with their HR team to find monitor performances of the hires that came through us. Case Study-2 (A US-based healthcare product company)

Hi friends, I am Vaibhav from Zigsaw. I come from a middle class family and both my parents are retired teachers. I have always been taught to study hard so that I can have a secure Job. Things were going as planned and I tried to live upto my parents expectations. But things changed in 2008, when I got admitted to an alma mater that contributes 20 lakh Crore to the nations economy.   • The purpose of these WhatsApp groups is to share verified Job openings to all Job seekers in a convenient way. Job openings are delivered right to your inbox in a fast, effective, and convenient way.
  • These groups would also help Job seekers communicate effectively about the pros & cons of working in any company. You can ask questions and there will be people who will help you out. You can also raise anonymous queries by PM’ing the admin at 9887890909
  • Premium Jobs will also be shared in these groups. Premium Jobs are jobs with active referral incentives. When you refer premium Jobs to your friends, not only do you become eligible for a treat from your friends but also a referral incentive from Zigsaw
  • Chats are not allowed in the group. If you have any queries related to any Job, DM the person who posted the Job.
  • No non-job-related discussions are allowed in the group. Anything apart from Job-related discussions including promotions, personal agenda, social cause, Good morning messages, festival greetings are not allowed in the group.

Our Journey: Back in 2013, Vaibhav worked on Adaptive Test Algorithm(ATA) with his friends from IIT Guwahati. With assumptions, theories & rough mathematical simulations, we release the first version of ATA. We try to fit different pieces of the puzzles together, Zigsaw is created. Beta testing is done in NIT Surathkal, MNIT & NIT Kurukshetra. In 2014, Vaibhav handpicks the first batch of interns from IIT Roorkee & JECRC to study case scenarios for test algorithm. Product matures with engineering & MBA interns. With time, the focus starts to shift from ATA to its application hence recruitment starts becoming a major part of what we do at Zigsaw. In 2015, The first-ever full-time team of Zigsaw is built from engineers from IIT BHU, IIT Roorkee, and Techno NJR. Meanwhile, Vaibhav quits his full-time Job as an HR Manager at Tata Power. In 6 months, we release 3 beta versions of Zigzobs (our Job portal), each one better than the last in terms of application. We start reaching out to more employers and collect their feedback aggressively. In early 2016, We start focussing on events. Interns from IIT Kanpur, NIT Surat, and IIT Madras help us conduct our first Internship Festival with 13 companies. Maiden edition of the Udaipur Job Festival is conducted in February 2016 with 11 companies. Things are darkest before the dawn & when we look back, it is these times that defined our character. We continue moving forward and conduct Zigsaw Job carnival 1.0 with 27 companies. In July 2016, we start receiving some early traction and our efforts are recognized by Rajasthan Patrika. People are getting interested now. Meanwhile, another offline/online internship festival is conducted with 18 companies including Urban Clap. Interns from IIT BHU, BITS, TAPMI & IIIT take the product to the next level and zigzobs 4.0 is released. Meanwhile, our clientele grows beyond Udaipur and we conduct Zigsaw Job Carnival 2.0 with 276 Job openings. In December 2016, things are starting to fall in place and we start to focus on AI to sort Job applications.
